Wake Forest University and Wake Forest University Health Sciences Employees Priority Membership:
All Wake Forest University and Wake Forest University Health Sciences pool members from the 2017 summer season will be given “Priority Memberships” for summer 2018. These members will be able to apply during the first registration period beginning in early March.
Wake Forest University and Wake Forest University Health Sciences Employees Membership:
After the first registration period for Priority memberships ends, if space allows, membership applications will be accepted from Wake Forest University and Wake Forest University Health Sciences employees.
General Public Membership:
After the second registration period, if enough space is available, memberships will be accepted from the general public up until the opening day of the pool or until it is full.
Membership Fees: A certain level of membership fee revenue needs to be reached in order to keep the pool operating. Fees have been instituted for retirees/widow(er)s due to the operating expenses required to maintain the pools upkeep. Only family memberships will be offered for the 2018 pool season. When membership capacity is not reached Graylyn management will explore offering single memberships and/or pro-rated memberships. Memberships offered as a “General Public Member” are also limited and offered only when the need to fill membership capacity is necessary. General Public Memberships are offered at an increased membership rate.
Eligibility: Faculty, staff, and retirees from Wake Forest University Reynolda Campus and Wake Forest University Health Sciences are eligible for membership. Medical residents are employed by North Carolina Baptist Hospital and do not meet eligibility requirements for membership. Adult children are not eligible for membership unless employed by Wake Forest University or Wake Forest University Health Sciences.
Guest Policy: Members may bring up to 4 guests to the pool at each visit. Adult children are welcome at the pool when accompanied by a member as a guest. Guest fees are $5/per guest. No guests will be admitted into the pool area without the presence of a member.
