A Taste of Something Special: Chef’s Table Highlights

Our chefs brought the flavor last week with their Chef’s Table pop-ups at The Pit and North Dining. When you see those setups, it means something extraordinary is on the way!
But what exactly are Chef’s Tables? More than just a delicious meal, these pop-ups are a chance for our talented chefs to showcase their skills, share their passion, and take you on a culinary journey around the world. Each dish is crafted with creativity, precision, and expert technique.
When you spot a Deacon Dining Chef’s Table event in our stories or a “Happening Now” post, get ready for something truly special—a unique dining experience featuring incredible flavors and expertly prepared dishes you won’t want to miss!
Last Week’s Culinary Highlights:
Fresh-Shucked Oysters with Chef Levin:
Sourced from our community partner Sound Side Oysters, these were paired with champagne vinegar mignonette, lemon caper aioli, perillade, and of course, your hot sauce of choice.
Global Flavors with @africasa_wfu Group:
We showcased Theib Guinar, the Senegalese take on Jollof Rice, paired with brown stewed chicken, steamed cabbage, and a refreshing Bissap beverage.
Moroccan Spiced Beef Brisket with Chef Peyton:
Hand-carved to perfection, served with couscous salad with chickpeas, roasted carrots, and spiced natural jus.
Next time you see a Chef’s Table pop-up at The Pit, don’t miss the chance to taste, engage, and experience something new.
