Join us as we cheer on our chef, Zachary Woodring, as he competes in the prestigious 2024 American Culinary Excellence (ACE) Competition on Thursday, March 14, 2024.

But what exactly is ACE? ACE stands for Aramark Culinary Excellence, a culinary competition that celebrates and spotlights Aramark’s culinary talent. Utilizing American Culinary Federation (ACF) standards, ACE ignites our dedication to building Aramark’s global culinary culture for our chefs. It’s a hallmark of Aramark’s commitment to fueling the hospitality experience and ongoing food focus. 

Chefs from various sectors, including Collegiate Hospitality, Harvest Table Culinary Group, Healthcare+, Destinations, Sports+Entertainment, STudent Nutrition, and Workplace Experience Group, will compete individually in district and regional competitions. Winners from these rounds will advance to the national stage, where they will partner with a client event. At the culmination of the national competition, the top three winners from each Business Unit will form a team to compete alongside the 2023 International Chef’s Cup winners in the Aramark Culinary Excellence Enterprise Finals; set to be held in Philadelphia in the Fall of 2024. The Enterprise winners will have the honor of being crowned the 2024 ACE Champions.

Our team’s participation in the ACE Competition highlights the Harvest Table Culinary Group’s commitment to innovation and excellence. It’s a reflection of our chef-driven culture and dedication to pushing the boundaries of culinary creativity.
