This Thursday, March 20, 2025, Chef Jonathan Burns will represent Wake Forest University in the Harvest Table round of the ACE Competition. If he advances, he’ll compete against top chefs from different regions, showcasing his creativity, technique, and culinary expertise.

As Director of Culinary Development, Chef Burns has spent six years with Harvest Table, refining his craft and blending tradition with innovation. His ACE submission—Sage and Prosciutto Roulade of Chicken with Farro and Brown Rice Pilaf, Citrus Carrot Purée, and Sage Oil—reflects his dedication to elevating classic flavors with refined artistry. Beyond the kitchen, he values collaboration, using food to bring people together.
