Hurricane Helene Donation Drive

You’re invited to join in a cross-University campaign to support hurricane relief efforts for our friends and neighbors in western North Carolina. 

You can help in three easy ways: Donate, Volunteer, Cheer. 

Donate: Beginning today (November 7) through November 14, the University is collecting goods to donate to our community partners who are supporting hurricane relief, Second Harvest Food Bank, the Diaper Bank, and the Humane Society. You can drive through and drop off, or walk your donations in the ZSR Library circle/[designated unit location]. 

Volunteer: During the November 16 Community Day of Action, you can volunteer to help with sorting and packing collected goods for delivery to our community partners (sign up available next week). This week, you can volunteer to take a shift at the ZSR donation drop off site. 

Cheer: Athletics will direct a portion of ticket proceeds from several upcoming games to the NC Disaster Relief Fund, and will invite Deacs fans to donate on game days as well. Cheer on the Deacs and support this cause
